    Halloween is coming. How about giving a half dollar instead of candy!? What kid wouldn't want one?

    There is a young man that lives across the street from me that receives coins (proof nickels) from me for Halloween. Along with an older hot wheel 1996 still in package and a pack or two of sports cards.

    I think giving out coins is an awesome way to introduce someone to numismatics. It is so easy after receiving a gift like a coin to research on the internet.

    This year I will be giving out candy, half dollars, hot wheels, to all who ring the bell.
