    Two problems.
    1. You are only showing one side.
    2. You are holding them in your bare hand.

Ya dude only hold coins on the sides, so the oils on your fingers don't damage the coin

Heavily circulated, the 45 has a lot of hits around the rim.

How about some pics of the reverse sides?

I'll post them later. And I didn't know I shouldn't hold them. Does anyone know the value?

Spot today puts them at about $7 each.

It's fun to hold history, isn't it? Congrats on your halves!

    LOL!

If these were BU GEMS or just UNCs, I could agree with your "counseling" but since these are just circulated bullion silver anymore, I think he can hold them anyway he likes.

As for showing only one side, I think folks know what the other side of circulated asilver looks like.

Handling circulated coins is one of the main ways I enjoy them.

I carry ones like those around in my pocket almost every day. Fun to have some of my dads old coins with me.

Congrats on the halves! If you pursue collecting either (or both) of these series, you will not regret it! I finished the Franklins a few years ago, and have a couple to go to complete the walkers. There is not many series more enjoyable to complete in my book!

Nice! Consider working on a circulated half dollar type set if you like them. It's fun and shouldn't be too hard. Keep at it!
