Lyds19:thumb: 1977-D I was just reading up on that just the other day. I think I have one in my 1977 mint set.
The top rows of halves (5 in each stack) are 40%: The bottom 9 halves are 90%, and the others are obviously proofs. This was out of $340 worth of halves from my Credit Union back in March. Since that monster find, I have only churned up 11 40% halves. Usually I bust on halves.
They are not known for being in Mint sets. However, I have a couple of 1977-D DDO-002 which have what appear to be those packaging slide marks on them. Which kinda makes me wonder?
