Half Cent token.

I posted this a long time ago. It's not a coin but it is listed in the Red Book. Thought the folks on the Error forum could help me understand what created the look of the rim.

I'm thinking an Incomplete clip.. Since its seen on both sides in the same area. Is it coin alignment or medalic?

 

Great question. I can see that that's important. I'll have to figure that out this evening.

 

I forgot to dig it out but I'm sure it's coin alignment. Not being a real coin, limits any information that's out there.
