I am a handful of patterns and I’ve seen more. It appears to me that the grading services tolerate hair lines way more in patterns then in traditional coins. My best guess is that the patterns were polished more because they were more than usual but I have no actual idea why it is that in order to get a pattern without hairline Do you have to hit the 66 or so level before you see them clear up is there anyone who can help me on this please just don’t tell me they are misgraded basically every one under 64 is polished or hairlined.

I still like them but the standards are different on patterns vs common anyone have something to say about this?

Hairlines come from the way the coins are treated after they leave the mint. The mint would not have polished the coins but they do polish dies.
You are correct. As a normal, the fewer the hairlines the higher the coin should grade. It's all about how well the coin has been cared for.
