I wanted the heroic bust but I am a sucker for circulated cameo looks and this one has it. I will get the other bust eventually. Hadrian (117 - 138) O: IMP CAESAR TRAIAN H_ADRIANVS AVG; Laureate, draped, cuirassed bust right. R: P M TR-P-COS III; Roma seated left on cuirass, shield behind, Victory in right hand, vertical spear in left. Rome RIC II, 77 20mm 3.4g
Thats rad! Heroic busts are cool and I was gonna try and get a normal bust since I had one, but now I want to find one like this too . Great rev. and yeah, nice toning!
What sucks is in the photo, on the reverse next to the "M" it looks like a deposit & in hand it isnt, its just as smooth as the rest of the toning on the coin.
A very nice portrait style ! As for the "deposit", maybe should you try another pic with light coming from different angle and direction. Just my two cents Q
