I have an old bronze coin I decided to clean up (not clean). It was covered in dirt, dust, and who knows what else, so I took a cotton swab to it with water at first and then acetone. The water took away most of the dirt, but when I used the acetone, the run-off turned green! Just a fun thing that happened to me. If anybody knows why (or if this is normal with acetone), I want to know!
