Gutter fold???

Discussion in 'Paper Money' started by peachymargarita, Jun 21, 2006.

  1. I do not have this note in my possession. It belongs to a friend of mine who found it several days ago. With my limited knowledge of error notes I think it is a gutter fold. However I am perplexed as to why it is only missing the ink on the back and not the front.
My friend says it looks as though it is actually cut down the fold. Does this sound right?
Anyway, what does everyone think. Value? Keeper?

    Thanks for your help,

    Michael

It is a gutter fold error. The note was folded before the first printing on the back, then unfolded before the second and third printings on the front.

Nice find, BTW. A nice, thick fold that extends from top to bottom.
