Guess why I'm happy with these coins :)

Visited a local coin shop today and picked up some coins I'm very happy with...but I thought it would be fun to have people guess WHY I bought them...

First coin: 1928 S Standing Liberty Quarter

Clue, if you haven't guessed it already: I already own one of these, and I just discovered that my coin is the one a TPG is using for its website!

You're happy with them because you're sending them to me and you just love charity?

Crystal ball. Ha ha. Nice coins.

That's just the first one, and you haven't guessed what's special about it yet :)

The FS-502 was the easy part. Now send me my coin. :p

It is a bit mashed, and without checking, I am guessing that you believe it the inverted mintmark variety.

Yes! Congratulations! Here is the next coin I am very happy with:

Actually, jallengomez was correct when he said it was the FS-502 (Large S, S/S) variety. I'd be even happier about getting an Inverted S!

I like that cent! I like the die crack looks like it is before it would break to a cud. Also like the die crack on the opposite side. Is there a reason the die cracks look nearly mirror image????

Ha ha, that is ONE of the reasons...but not the primary one I bought the coin. Pretty cool how they come in from the rim and then back out!

    Keep going!

Is that doubling I see on "Liberty"?

    Someone graded it a 67?

Ha ha...nope...it's a raw pick from an album. Here's a hint: it's on the obverse...

RPM? It's difficult to tell on my kindle.

I'm stumped on this one. You needed an example of a 1941 with the trumpet tail mint mark(MMS-004)?

Bingo! Although I don't really "need" an example (I have a roll and a half of these) this is my first MS example of the Large S variety for this year. Of course, this may make the next guess easier:

Since I'll be gone all day helping my auctioneer friend with an auction, I thought I'd post two more coins I got yesterday that I'm very happy with. See if you can guess what I like about them. Enjoy! :)
