I hope it is 1918 it would be worth more. The dates also wore down easily then. There is no limit on the guess, the seller nor I know the date. Maybe when I get it, it may be easier to tell.
Yes, in 1925 they changed the way they imprinted the date to stop it from wearing. I examined it closely and the 2 in 1928 I am seeing could be just wear. This could also be a 1 making it 1918.
I paid $11 (melt then less than melt now) for both on Ebay and they arrived today. I am just wondering about them since the 1925 doesn't look so bad and the 1928 I don't have.
