I'm curious as to whether this coin is accurately graded. I apologize in advance for the poor quality of the pictures (I'm a beginner at using the camera and haven't learned how to use proper lighting and other techniques). Thanks for your opinions. http://i801.photobucket.com/albums/yy291/rel_1973 /Picture029.jpg
Thanks for your grading opinions. With the caveat that my grading skills are rudimentary, I think it grades MS-66. My reasoning: there is a ding in the upper left corner of the shield that is visible to the naked eye. And the ANA grading manual does not permit a MS-67 coin to have a 'detracting contact mark' like said. I paid a little too much for it. Fortunately, the York doesn't have a steep grade to price curve; otherwise, I could have really taken the proverbial bath. Oh and it would have been helpful if one of my posted pictures didn't barely reveal the grade. There are some posters with eagle eyes that caught it Thanks again!
