Coin looks dipped and retoned from a Dansco album. The luster looks okay but there is some light hairlines on the obverse. They don't scream cleaned though, so I am going to say the the TPG attributed the hairlines to light circulation and graded the coin AU58.
The fields are better than average, but the rims have numerous small dents, plus heavy marks on the cheek and neck. I'd say AU-55.
Just imagine, 100 years ago, your great-grandparents could take 50 worn-out Indianheads down to the bank and swap them for a brand-new frosty-white Barber half!!! Wonder when paper rolls (for new coins) came into general usage?? And how did they transport before paper rolls?
