Here's a coin I was thinking about getting. Any ideas on the grade? Seated coins are quite a beautiful design. Love the quarter and halves.
I can't quite tell if that a rub or not I'm gonna say au-58 but it could be ms-63 too I just about can't call this one without seeing in hand either way it's a beauty
It is a 58, but it's one of the nicest I've seen from pictures. I should have it in hand early next week sometime.
That frosty eagle made me pull the trigger. That sucker had 14 watchers, I wanted to wait and use my eBay bucks, but with that many watches and it being the nicest coin for the money in my watch list I went ahead and got it. I can always find another coin to use the bucks on.
I'm zero competition there I can be brutal at ha and s&b as ma any here know (not lately tho) but I will never do business on feebay again boycotted them since 2005 and not planning on changing the subject of my posts s on another thread
I've been on ebay since about 2000 off and on for various things. I amassed a huge collection of items from my fraternity that really rooted me on eBay. I had one of the most extensive collections for a kid my age for our fraternity, it was insane. Lots of items from really early on and just odd things that needed to be saved. So I can't hate eBay too much, I saved plenty of historically interesting stuff from being lost any further.
Here's an article I wrote a few years ago for our monthly publication. Found the item on eBay and as far as known is probably unique. https://www.lambdachi.org/blog/candc/the-friendship-pin-a-mystery-fit-for-dick-tracy/
My final straw was getting negative feedback from a buyer that paid me with a bad check and left me negative feedback when I refused to ship and they took his side!!! I said I'm done now and forever this was a culmination of bad treatment but the straw that broke the camels back
