Guess the grade on 1853 Large Cent

    I obtained this 1853 Large Cent and in hand it looks really nice with lot's of copper color.

    Would anyone care to give a grade on this coin ?

    I'd call that a lower-XF example. I'm not sure if it's just your lighting, but the coin sure looks like it's been cleaned. :confused:

    Well tough to see the coin and how much wear, but I might say XF details. The pictures make it look polished.

    I'd say XF-40 along with everyone else. It appears polished in the pics. if we had different pics it might be au but based on these that's what I'd go with
