Here is a Morgan in a slab that is not one of the "top 4" holders. All comments are appreciated and as a bonus you can guess the holder.

I voted MS65. Not sure on the holder. :)

Morgandude11 As long as it's Silver, I'm listening

It should be a 64, but probably is graded 65 by the 3rd tier grader.

I would say so; I'd put them in the so-called "next 3" companies

Being that it is not a top four company - I will guess a MS66. If I was grading it - I would grade it AU58 - looks to have a big old finger print which means to me that it has some type of wear. ICG is the grading company?

ICG is among the top 4 TPGs and a finger print is not considered as wear in my book. I would say that's a solid 63 with a shot at 64. Nice peripheral toning.

My guess of 65 was for what the slab says. IMO, I think people saying high 63/low 64 are right. The cheek has a 64 look to it, but then there's that stuff going on in front of the portrait. Based on the images, I'd grade it low end 64 if I were considering buying it.

It's an older PCI Photo Slab; seems pretty accurately graded to me

If you magnify You can see the bag wear on the hair A few squed rubs on the face. I would say 63 solid grade with the chest wear on the reverse.

Chest wear on a "solid MS63"...? By definition there can't be wear on a MS coin. Are you referring to a weak strike? Bag marks maybe?

He means bag abrasion; silver is a weak metal, but the US mints nevertheless shipped them on bumpy roads in 1000 coin bags. The highest points were thus abraded.
