I haven't done one of these in a while although I know others have been busy doing them. This is a cool coin. Please vote in the attached poll.

The ones that actually have 6 full steps do get 6FS on the label.

I think I am seeing a small hit on the bottom step, so I said 67 5steps. great looking coin

Nice coin btw. I'm slowly getting back into nickel collecting. I have a tuppaware thing full of pre-70 nickels (maybe a few 70-s's). Most are pre-'60

I can't really see it well enough to count the steps but I guessed 5. But the roughness at the bottom of the obv and top and bottom of the rev holds the coin back from a higher graded in my opinion. It lessens the eye appeal.

You guys are getting pretty good at this! Jallengomez nailed it almost instantly.

I am a little surprised that nobody noticed from the photo of the steps that I freed this coin from it's tomb.

Agreed with GDJMP I was going to guess 66 with 5 FS as I too see a nick or something on the bottom of the setps...I wonder if you cracked it out what NGC would give it? As I find between the two TPG NGC & PCGS that when it comes to nickels "Jeffersons" NGC is a harder nut to crack to get the grade you think it should grade. Hower I did get a great run on some error nickels using NGC. some comming back with yes FS!
