Just to clarify, this coin comes in three versions, including a colorized version. This particular one is not colorized or a hologram. It's closer to a reverse proof (similar to Perth Mint coins, like Kookaburras or Koalas).
Haven't a clue, so I'll say it a details coin, which I think would be a surprise to all if it did! MS Details - Altered Surfaces (but I really have no idea)
Wow, thats neat. I wish they would of mass produced wax packs of 1 ounce upper deck baseball silver coins in the '80s. I would be rich !!
PSA Mint 9 (This is this not your coin.. right?) It's currently for sale on ebay - https://www.ebay.ca/itm/122812952660?rmvSB=true&ul_ref=http%3A%2F%2Frover.ebay.com%2Frover%2F1%2F706-53473-19255-0%2F1%3Ficep_ff3%3D2%26pub%3D5574735181%26toolid%3D10001%26campid%3D5336086427%26icep_item%3D122812952660%26ipn%3Dpsmain%26icep_vectorid%3D229529%26kwid%3D902099%26mtid%3D824%26kw%3Dlg%26srcrot%3D706-53473-19255-0%26rvr_id%3D1366476370102
I wonder if PSA/DNA or BGS will slab an already slabbed NGC / PCGS coin. It would be neat to see a PCGS graded autograph hall of fame coin, within a BGS slab.
It seems to be marketed as a crossover collectible for those that like cards and coins. PSA likely grades it the coin is released by Upper Deck. There are also some 1992 Baseball Silver Commemorative Dollars graded by PSA as part of a special Nolan Ryan set that someone was making (although another poster on the PCGS forum said PSA was no longer grading that particular coin).
Or trimming.. Plus being offset just a bit, might actually be beneficial... To the coin collectors anyway.
If it was on a regular grading scale it will always be a 69 or 70 unless someone has played with the coin. Perth always has a great strike on their coins.
