You don't often see a 1949 Franklin with color like this so I had to add it to my collection when I saw it. Now let's try a guess the grade. I have added the GC photo and the PCGS Trueview for your perusal.
MS65 FBL - nicks on the cheek and in the hair keep it from 65. Also odd that those are much less visible on the GC pix.
And the reveal.... ...it's MS 63 FBL....somewhat of an odd grade as I don't think the hits/marks bring it down that much, especially given the strong luster and nice toning, but I picked it up for the color, so the grade is secondary here. LOL Certain colors determined that one. It needs a long-time environment. I might even free that one. Just sayin.
