So all you folks that are guessing 65 and up - you gonna tell me all those marks are planchet marks ?
I'll say MS-64 by a tpg , too many hits on Lincolns face and body , nice color and luster might bump it up to a 64 , by ANA grading a 63 . rzage
Too beat up for me to personally consider it a GEM, but I went with 65 anyway as I've been undergrading these things.
Again the reverse is pretty solid, but the obverse is a bit busy. There is a die crack on Abe's forehead, several planchet marks, and I can count 4 nicks (chin, collar and lapel). Ignoring the planchet marks, it is definitely a 66. Draw you own conclusions with them.
So this is the 2nd or third of these I've entered, and I've made private guesses on several others... And I'm ALWAYS 1-3 points lower than PCGS I almost think this is a good thing. *lol*
Indeed...that's the fun of any hobby, imo. learning and improving your understanding of whatever it is
