    1916- PCGS slabbed

I hope to get this done before I leave, but I will have to short cycle it. I will be gone for about 10 days starting this Saturday - basically without internet connection.

NOTE: If you don't vote in the poll, your vote will not be counted

Am I seeing things or is there a strike through at the 11oclock by the o in one? Going with 64

I don't know. The darkening is much more obvious than any displacement of metal. I cannot make out if is is just a darkening or if there is something more to it.

Tough one to grade. Luster appears very nice. Some mellowing of red. Few hits. On the surface I'd say 64 or 65, but the spots likely dropped it down a point or two. I guessed 64.

I'm going to go with MS-64. Rlm, that is a real nice Lincoln!

What happened to the rim? Is it off-centered or something? 64

Stealer, I think you're right -- a touch off center.

Nearly mark free, about as solid a strike as you can get even for a 1916- (yes, it is a little off center) and it actually has good luster. It is an old slab and probably did not have the spots/finger prints when slabbed. It may well be red/brown today, but I still think it is a 65.
