I will not be able to work on these Saturday, so I will end this and http://www.cointalk.com/t129041/ tomorrow.
No comments about the die scratches? This may have a few more nicks/planchet flaws than most 67's, but it makes up for it in luster.
Still all bunched up for the lead. 0.001 lead? Does that really count? BTW, I changed the minimum required to be score to 1/3 of the most votes. Top 10. I do not think there is a simple answer to that. For instance, Lehigh has found PCGS significantly stricter in grading Jeffersons, but NCG much more strict on full steps. So if I have 2 MS66 full steps one each NGC and PCGS, which is "stricter"? The answer depends on your perspective. Here are my opinions - dealing solely with MS66 Lincolns. I have not kept track of these. They are based just my recollections. Oh! And then you have to figure which gets how much each is to be weighed. Bag marks/ticks - NGC is more strict Die scratches/planchet marks - PCGS is more strict Strike - NGC is more strict spots - PCGS is more strict Luster - I have heard PCGS is more strict, but I cannot make the same conclusion nor dispute it. Eye appeal - I am sure it more depends on which what each is looking for. You are free to draw you own conclusions, but that is what mine are.
