Beautiful Woody , too bad PCGS takes a point or 2 off . IMHO .

I'm not a fan of Lincoln's but I want that coin. Very neat looking in comparison to other woodies I've had the displeasure of looking at.

Nice luster too, not a lot of chatter. My first reaction was 67, but I think PCGS went 66.

I'd give this beauty a 66+ for the color , but being a woody and PCGS 65 .

It will end up being a 64. LOL I couldn't bring myself to vote that, it's too nice.

I couldn't either . To me a 64 has some troubles , but this one doesn't . It's just too nice and I'm hoping PCGS got over their prejudice against woodies to only take a pt. off instead of 2 .

Sorry, but I don’t get this one. First off, the grain is not as visible in hand as the picture make it. It is there, but not so bold. I can catch a glimpse of 2 tiny nicks in hand. Not sure about 67 luster, but it definitely has 66 luster and there is nothing wrong with the strike. That equates to a 66 in my mind, but PCGS only gave it a 65. This has got to be their dislike of woodies.. And this may well be another reason I like them. I can get what I consider a 66 for 65 or less in price.

I got it right only by subtracting a point from the 66+ it should have got . Beautiful coin Dick .

I like it too. There must be something about those 27's. My avatar is a 27 and I also have it twin.

Amazing bias against woodies. That coin is a (at least)66 period.

As I said, I agree, WG-66. The automatic woody "penalty" by the TPGs plain sucks.
