MS-65 - strike too weak for me to give her a 66. Wouldn't surprise me if they put her at a 66 though.

Details - the hairlines on the reverse indicate harsh cleaning/scrubbing.

With that luster? o.0 Coins can have hairlines or minute scratches such as that leaving the mint. ^.-

Those are die polishing lines in my opinion. I think the luster on this one carries it to 66.

Those aren't hairlines , they're die polish lines . Look how they don't go over the writing or other devices .

Oh, those die polish lines (aka die scratches) Yes, they are die scratches. Notice how none of those line cross any device. Scratches on the coin would preferentially mar the high points/devices. Die scratches do not count against the grade. Not only that, but they are not visible without a loupe. Getting past the die scratches, it is actually a pretty nice coin. Great luster and a real solid strike. Just a couple tiny nicks most notably above ONE. It is a solid 66 and PCGS agreed.

No one moved this round. Even most of the scores stayed the same. Anyone notice ldhair score lately. Oh, and his worst (relatively speaking, anyway) rounds are coming up.
