I know, I have the wrong title on the poll. Yes, it is a 1915-D. Hopefully one of the mods can change it.
I am pretty sure this one is not a woody. I is likely an end-of-roll coin. Nice strike and pretty nice luster on a mostly red coin. No major nicks or spots except those spots by the right wheat. I think they are carbons spots and I do not know if they were there when graded, but they may not have affected the grade. Without them, I doubt it would have earned a 65. With them, I would be hard pressed to call this a 63. Yes, PCGS called it a 64 and I agree.

Nice coin! I can see the luster poking through. The reverse is LDS - notice how fat the EPU is and it really shows on the wheats. Denver had to over-extend their reverse working dies. I thought PCGS may drop a grade for it....guess I was wrong. The toning doesn't bother me much, it just makes the coin look all that more original.
