how many grades did you add to the coin to arrive at an MS66 grade?

I don't think he added anything , he knows how the tpgs grade and this coin is a 66 . Don't forget that these pics are way over sized and every little hit looks huge . Also the tpgs look at a coin without a loupe then use a 3-5X power if needed .

Boy the pictures of the obverse just look wrong for the color. I waffled between 65 and 66 before going with 66. If it wasn't for the reverse I might have said details on the coin because of the obverse color.

An interesting bicolor coin. I think they are pretty, but I am sure not everyone agrees. Regardless, I do not see how it could be called a distraction. Yes, there is a nick on the coin. So do 68's. That dark area on the reverse is shine and nothing else. Real nice luster and there is nothing to upset someone one the strike. All-in-all, PCGS called it a 66 and I see nothing to take it down any lower.

This is clearly a 66 unlike the '54-S in #590 which deserves the 67 .

PCGS is a bussiness, their goal is to make money from collectors.

Clearly you disagree with the grade and the rest of us. Would you care to explain your grade and why you disagree with the rest of us?

How in he world did you come up with 62?

True, which is why PCGS would undergrade the coin, if anything. Lowball the collector's submission so that they resubmit (and thus PCGS gets x2 the submission fees)

I added none and as you can see PCGS agreed with me.
You sir, obviously have something against TPG'ing services.
Nothing wrong with that but please don't come here and try to ruin our grading practice. We want to learn and share about grades here.

how did i try to ruin anything? i simply gave my opinions, isn't that what the threads are supposed to be about? if the only opinions that are allowed are those that agree with and support the most popular opinions, then why even post threads asking for comments? it seems to me that many of you don't like hearing too much truth about the coins. i guess some of you think that some truth might (ruin) your rich, spoiled, fantasy world. spoiled crybabies.

Insults don't make your point. Please tell us why you grade this coin at 62.
