Tough coin, I think I see some luster but slightly impaired in spots. I hope they didn't get rough on it.

Another one that I don't get. Good solid strike and nearly mark free (I find one). Yes, there are a couple blotches on the coin, but none are really that disturbing or eye catching. The luster on the obverse is good, but the reverse almost looks like it has a haze on it, but the luster still comes out. IMO there is just too much going for this coin not to be a 65. However, PCGS only saw it as a 64.

I bet when this coin browns a little , It'll get the 65 it deserves as 65 RB .

Doesn't make sense to me, but I never understood why PCGS was so tough on red coins that aren't perfectly "shiny", yet they'd give the same rb or bn coin a 65 all day.

I'd say because they don't grade coins but price them.
    Looks 65 still to me.

By the pictures, lots of distractions in the fields, subdued luster...it's not very brilliant. I still would grade this a 65 on my scale any day.
