Whoa , interesting coin , 1/2 a woody . Now do I only take of 1 point or the regular 2 for PCGS and woodies . Looks like a 66 , but what did PCGS give it . 64 or 65 ? lol

Environmental damage. They're getting tough at NGC and PCGS on coins with any problems. You have a good shot at NNC, though....

To give you an idea of just what is visible from my pictures, only under bright light or with a loupe can i make out the grain. However, those spots are definitely noticeable even though they are somewhat masked by the coloring- all 3 of them. The reverse is even busier than my pictures show, but just about everything is strike related. Real nice luster, nothing wrong with the strike and really only a couple nicks - but then there are those spots. I would have thought PCGS would go 64 - if they graded it at all. They surprised me with a 65.

Hmmm...I think something is wrong. I had 48 guesses as of the last tally (556). I guessed on both of these and got both right. So my average should go down, not up. And my total guesses should be 50 not 47.

You have missed (i.e. not guessed on) 3 of he last 50 rounds. I do not count the last 50 you played, but the last 50 I have posted. You did not guess on rounds 555, 533, and 522. And your score did go down. It went from 0.696 to 0.689.

BTW, getting both correct does not necessarily lower your score. It will not go up. but if the rounds dropped were also both correct, your score will not change.

Dick , are you saying that you only can tell it's a woody under bright lights . No wonder PCGS didn't go 64 . lol I'd love to have a coin that looks like the 1st pic .

Knowing what I am looking for, I can get a hint of the grain in front of the face every one in a while, but pretty much it looks like a red/purple coin.

Awesome coin, one of my favorites that I've seen. PCGS did it right, it's a cool coin and it deserves it's grade IMO.
