Would have gone 67 except for that hit on the left wheat top , 66 .

    Chicken! :D

I'm betting it's not a big deal - not in a prime focal area and the reverse is almost perfect. A 4 pt deduction would not be fair for that tiny tick IMO. The fields and frosty luster are off the charts with this coin. I see halo luster around the portrait - that means strong luster.

LOL . You're probably right but everytime I looked at it it bothered me . I think it might be the large pics as I've been bit on a couple 67's by going too low for what I thought was a "big" hit , time to remember everything Dick and all you guys taught me .

I am not sure what you are looking for on this one. In hand, I see - nothing. I mean no nicks, no weak areas, no spots. I would guess that someone with real good eyes might pick up that nick in the left wheat, but I can't. Not that I am trying to knock it, but I think the luster kept it from a 68. Remember, even 68 can have visible (the the eye) nicks. (from PCGS MS68 "A nearly perfect coin, with only minuscule imperfections visible to the naked eye.") Anyway, PCGS gave it a 67 and I absolutely agree.

Remember when everyone's scores were below 0.50? At this rate, everyone's score is going to be above 0.50 NEXT ROUND!
