there are some nics on the head, so 65.

Dick . time to get him reholdered . I can tell most of them are on the slab but a few I can't like between " in " and the back of Lincolns head and above the Y

Anyone else seeing the "A" carved into Lincoln's forehead? Looks like someone was bored. I gave it 65

 

I went 66 , but a 65 wouldn't surprise me .

I guess I need to make sure all my slabs are polished or find some way to teach you what are slab scratches and not coin scratches. There is some very light chatter on the coin (not visible to the naked eye), and a nick at about 8:00 on the obverse. Everything else is on the slab. The coin has real nice luster and nothing niticeable wrong with the strike. Yes, the O is a bit weak as are most Lincolns, but it is all there. Sorry, but NGC gave this a 67 and I agree.

BTW, I polished the slab so the next time I picture this at least most of the scratches will be gone.
