That obverse is tough. Can we get a hint?
On the left it looks like die polish lines going below the letters.
To the right of that it looks like the lines are on the coin or the slab.
I'm going to have to think about this one for a bit.

Dick , those lines can't be polish lines , can they ? They go over Lincolns head too .

What I can say for sure is that they are raised.

I guess a worker could accidentally hit the inside of the die when polishing . That's why I just joined CONECA to learn more about the whole minting process . One thing I can say is that it's a beauty .

For the sake of the poll, MS65.
However, my initial reaction when looking at the obverse was that this was not a mint state coin. Lincoln's jawline near his ear and also down his shoulder look kinda rubby to me.

OMG! What are you seeing? Dead solid strike, no nicks and good luster. Those are die scratches on LIBERTY and the bust and there are a couple die cracks on the bust. But those do not count against the coin. The only things I can even make out without a loupe are the lower crack and, with a strong light, the longest die scratch. Yes, this is a 67 and I actually think a pretty nice 67 even for PCGS.
