    Those nicks are so small you do not see them in hand without a loupe. However, the spots on the rim are. I doubt they were there when this was graded. Without those spots, it is a 67. With them, probably not.

    ugh.... very agressively graded imo,, even without the spots. The 54s I think was closer to 67, really a wonderful coin there and without that nick an easy 67+.. with the nick probably still a 67-,, I missed that one and went against my gut+1 grading system....
    this one I did use my gut+1, so would have missed by 2 had I not bumped my first impression.... that is some bad post slab spotting if in fact that is what has occured. Makes me wonder if this coin was "reconditioned" by NGC
    and then slabbed,, I find those most prone to post slab spotting, etc...

    The spots did not attract my attention at all. I noticed them - but went with luster rules. :)
