This coin is a bit redder in hand with a bit of album toning. Nice strike and good luster. A bit spotty on the color just like the 09- VDB, but not so many nicks. I tend to like the VDB better, but NGC didn't. They gave this ne a 65.

He slipped up and did not make first, but non_cents has joined the top in second place. Just about everyone's scores dropped this week (you agreed with my grading rather than NGC's), but mostly there was just some chair hopping.

Columns are rank, name, average, and number of guesses.

Argh...if only I had switched around the grades from 515 and 516! Well, I'm glad to be in the top 10, although I'm sure my position will be short-lived. :D

You have to remember that the icon (on my screen) is 3X and the enlargement is about 10X. You have to consider that professional graders typically use no magnification. You have to put that in perspective. What looks like a crater on the blow-up may not even be visible to the grader.

Congrats non cents on making #2 , I did the exact same missed them both by one . If I just switched my grades I'd of had them both . I got to admit these were two tough coins for me to get a read on though .

Oh! Okay thanks. Really interesting on how graders don't use magnification as well
