    66. Lincoln has a few scratches on his cheek.

It was not that much of a vacation. My in-laws moved into a care facility (much too late) and we needed to go through their things And it was very COLD!

Great to see you having these again Dick . I'll go 67 for luster , and the scratches on his face probably aren't that visible in hand .

First off, those "scratches" are on the coin, but the are raised rather than incuse. Notice how they end as the letters are raised. A post mint scratch would preferentially scratch the raised letter. These are die scratches. Within reason, they do not affect the grade. On top of that, they are just barely noticeable in hand. Aside from that, nice luster and nice strike, but there are a couple too many nick on the front for NGC to call it a 67. Don't know if it was offered when this was slabbed, but I believe it at least deserves a +.

Dick are the lines on the obverse right field polish lines or scratches ?

They are awfully fine, but the best I can tell it is some of both.

Stupid NGC, at least a 66+....they are so unpredictable between 66 and 67.
