    These dies were over-used and that's not a bad strike on this one. PCGS is screwy on these, though. I'm going to say they liked this color and gave this guy a MS64.

    Tough call...I'm stuck between 64 and 63...I'll go 64.

    Aren't 22's kinda mushy to begin with in general? I'm going with 65.

    One of my favorite coins. Those colors are pretty much there. In other words, you don't have to turn the coin just right so they pop. It is almost hard not to see them. An absolutely solid strike - Abe even has a pretty full beard and this for a date noted for some of the worst strikes out there. Nice luster and not so many nicks. If it were full red, I would expect a 66, typical more red than brown, a 65 RB, but they only gave this a 64. I am guessing the spotty color on the reverse held it back.

    I almost went 65 on this one. That's one nice 22-D.
