I went au-50. I think the reverse is definately au. I do wonder if the toning on the high spots on the obverse make it appear more worn than it is.

I think it may be XF-40

Who the heck knows on this one?
I looked at this coin when it was posted, but hesitated guessing the grade....confused.
Immediate reaction to coin: One set of photos don't tell the story.
Looks like lots of luster in places.
Yet hard wear and some toning on high points.
Woodgrain makes the coin even more challenging in the photos.
I wanted to guess 45, but ended up guessing 40, but probably should have abstained as I have absolutely no confidence in my ability to grade this one from photos.
Anywhere from a 35 to a 55 would not surprise me -- this is one of those you need to see in-hand, I suspect.
All of the above IMO, of course. :)

I feel the same way. Judging from the pics I find it hard to believe it is less than a 45. I would not be surprised though.

Missed this but if I had to guess it would have been a 45 . And I do mean guess because I also think it could go AU-50 .

I wish I had some more of these. Most of you obviously need practice on circulated Lincolns. Nice even light wear with no real distractions. Not a problem with the strike, but the luster is gone. There is too much wear for an AU and not enough wear for VF. The lack of distracting marks and that reverse made sure it got a 45.

I brought the slab pictures, but my computer is not reading them for some reason. Scores will follow probably Monday.

Would have got them both right , lucky I got 472 in , but when I got here it wouldn't let me vote . I usually see rlms closing warning , dang and I needed em both too . Well that's life .
