Is that a little green spot on the reverse?

Looks like verdigris, I think I see some light-haze verdigris on the left side too. Big hit right in the obverse center. I can't see much obverse luster. NGC scares me with this coin...I'm gonna sleep on it.

I guess my pictures were not too good. I missed the luster. The color is actually pretty close. It is a dirty looking amber, but there are virtually no marks on it and the black spots on the reverse are definitely not the distraction as in the picture. The green is color and not verdigris or PVC. I is not that bad looking coin. It may have lost a little luster, but NGC gave it a 67. I guess the best I can do is just not to count this one.

Take a good look boys...... raw, in plastic, in outer space.. where ever, eventually the all reds will turn this shade of RB... then to BN. Copper turns brown. I'd love to know what that beauty looked like when it was slabbed.

BTW.. I think this coin is fully 67 and wish the tpg would give more weight to good strikes, lack of hits, and details... rather than luster luster luster. Coins rent luster... details, hits, and strike stay.

Glad I abstained, I was going to say 65/66.

Regardless of what you did, it was like everyone abstained.

BTW, bahabully, the coin would probably still be called red, but that would be a close call.

Even if it were true some of the time, it obviously was not so this time.
