    Leadfoot there is no spoon

6 all day long. a few too chattery and mark in right field holds coin back from higher grade.

nice luster. die showing some sign of deterioration and I'll bet the luster is starting to get silky.

No way did PCGS give this coin a 63 , and we're guessing the grade on the slab , also you must realize that the pics are magnified and minor marks look bigger , also the area by the shoulder is from planchet flaw marks not hits , same with the areas around the one , this is a solid 66 according to PCGS standards . Look at the fields and luster , the fields are clean and the luster is all there .

Will have to agree with rzage. If this coin is graded MS-63 I'll sell you my house for a penny.

Yes, there are a couple nicks on this coin, but the strike and luster more than make up for the nicks. And the die crack on Abe's head will not affect the grade. So, Irish2Ice, your house is safe. PCGS gave it a 66. FWIW, frostyluster, I have no idea what you are seeing in about 1/3 of your circles, I have no hope of seeing most of the rest without a loupe, and the rest are small enough not to be particularly distracting. Remember, the original picture you are seeing it several times larger than a cent and it enlarges to several times larger than that. Actually, in hand the most distracting thing on that coin is the spot to the left of the left wheat which you did not even mark.

1 out of 2 again ... i'm pretty sure i have no shot at the top 10 ever unless the rankings use some sort of rolling ranking system and i apologize if that's already been explained

I need a run of getting both correct instead of this 1 of 2 crap. I don't care because PCGS was wrong on the 1944 IMO.

Sorry, I am not very good at grading BU lincolns, and even worse at outlining stuff. The enlarged picture made some contact marks seem very large.
