    Hmmm....

    Rims clear.

Prime focal areas and fields look clean.

Toning doesn't seem to impare luster and is attractive and multicolor. A bit of an odd distribution of color.

    I'd value it like a 66r, but grade it 66rb. I guessed 6.

Interesting coin and I'm really not quite sure what to make of it.

    I love that color , but I don't think PCGS does , I'd give it a 67 but PCGS probably went 66 .

i'd say 67 all day, but then there's that nick behind the ear, so i'll drop it to 66

I really REALLY wanted to give this one a 67...but couldn't bring myself to do it. Can't see any hits at all!

I am missing something on this one. PCGS gave it a 65. The strike and (lack of) nicks could not keep it from a 67, IMO. I have seen better luster on some MS66's, but I have seen many 66's with a lot worse luster. I guess that means they did not like the eye appeal??

The only way I can see this coin getting a 65 is if that scratch to the right of Liberty is on the coin , even then it should have gotten a 66 , Guess PCGS doesn't like toned coins . I really think they blew this one . Well at least Dick got a beautiful coin for 65 money .

I paid more like 66 money for it, but still I would have had to pay that much more were it a 66. And that scratch is on the slab.

How could they not like the eye appeal??? That is a 66 easily!

I will usually subtract at least a half grade for strong toning at PCGS.
