Clean enough to be a 67, that's for sure. But the holder is new, and likely the spots were there already, so I suspect it held the grade back to 66, which is what I guessed.
This and http://www.cointalk.com/t215314/ will be ending tomorrow night. I should have the grades sometime not too long thereafter. The standings will probably be next week.
Minimal marks, nice strike, and real nice luster. In hand, it is a very sharp looking coin with one little spot. (Again, the photo amplifies the blemishes.) As Leadfoot stated, this is a recent slab so I would be surprised if the spot were not there at grading. I guess NGC thought that the coin was sharp enough to still give it a 67.
YES! I knew those little spots wouldn't be more than -3. That coin is nearly perfect with some nice orange peel luster.
Beautiful coin , should of went with my 1st thought , but started thinking about those spots , well 1 out of 2 isn't bad but it isn't good either .
