MS-66RD , what an amazing reverse

 

ms-67rd ... maybe a bit of wishful thinking here bc that dark area on the reverse is messing with me lol.

Nice luster , just those couple spots . Thinking 66 .

 

IMHO, it all depends on when it was put in the holder.

 

probably a 66. gave it a 65

 

You're right there , it's clean enough for a 67 , but we can only grade on what's on the coin now .

Great strike, great luster and only a few small nicks. But there are those spot and they do not look fresh (to me with my limited experience). In other words, there are large haloes (or whatever you want to call them) around the spots. PCGS only gave this a 65. There is nothing else on that coin to warrant that low a grade so I think the only possibility would be the spots. With the spots, 65 sounds about right to me.
