Great luster and without a loupe a 67 , but have a feeling that "hit" in the right obverse field might bring it down . Now is it a hit or planchet defect ?

Some field and step hits should hold it back IMO. I would 65 it for incomplete steps...I'm REAL picky about steps on these but the TPG's don't care. If it was a wheat, it'd for sure be a 65 but NGC and PCGS bump memorial cents up a notch or two typically.

66 tops as there are too many hits in the fields. But I do love that luster.

Going 66 on this one , too much chatter on his face , and can't tell if that mark is a hit or planchet defect in the right obverse field .

Nice strike, great luster and a few nicks. Most of the lines you see are die polish lines. All in all, there are just too many nicks for a 67 on this one. It is a 66 all day long.
