2+ years and you have missed most of them. You coming back or just visiting?

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

It is a 67 luster coin, but that stuff by the "T" in "CENT" and the ding above ONE has me worried about it. I said 66 but am on the edge with agreeing with T$ and saying details.

That is one strange coin ! Three things going on that I have no idea of how they could have got there.

1 - what I can only call a ghost rim between LIBERTY and IN.

2 - what almost looks like a doubled ear, with a round dot on each one !

3 - 2 identical circular marks of some kind (with what looks like a cross in them) on the rev, one on the top of the left wheat (not the die chip lower down) and one under the B

I love the obverse and wonder if the reverse pulled it down a bit.

1 - That is the luster. I have never noticed a coin do that before, but it does it in hand also even though everything appears flat.

2 - Never noticed that before either. Other coins I look at also have it, but not nearly so obvious. A combination of lighting, strike, and die conditions?

3 - They are not quite so identical in hand, but definitely similar.

BTW, Rusty, that is the camera in reflection.

Toughie for sure - the spots on the reverse convinced me to drop it to 66. And the ear(without blowing it up) just looked like a hit. But I see what Doug mentioned when it was blown up. Interesting coin.

Those circles are strange , the obverse is beautiful but the reverse will hold it down to a 66 , I think .
