Tough coin in 66. That's my guess.

Me too MS-66. When the grade gets above MS-64 it really tough to see differences. I could tell a lot better if I had the slab in my hands.

A deceptive coin in my opinion, one with things that would be very easy to miss. Curious to see if anybody else sees them.

Well Doug, I see the date and MM are dinged. The shoulder and back look odd, I don't know what to call it. Usually I would say it was a weak strike, but the hair looks too well struck for that...???

On the reverse, it could be lighting or angle, but the U is very weak and the left wheat head is "off".

Typical light D mint strike, but what appears to be booming luster amid some mellowing. I guessed 66.

However, after further review,RLM: I would like to change my grade to 65 (light spotting on both sides).

A good solid strike, and the only ticks I see are on his shoulder and below AMERICA. However, this one just does not have the luster (mostly the reverse) of even most 66's. I am not sure just what Doug sees here, but the luster is why I believe PCGS only gave this a 65. Interesting how most guessed 66 and the second most was a 64, but few guessed 65.

Tough grade...luster dominates at the higher grades once again.
