    Were the spots there when slabbed , is the question ? Going 65 .

    That is a very good question rzage. The coin, sans spots, is at least a 66 by PCGS standards. With spots, who knows. I guessed 65.

    Very nice luster, solid strike and very few marks. There are a bit too many ticks for a 67, but easily a 66 - if those spots were not there. First off, they are not so noticeable in hand, but they are there. My guess is that the spots were there but not as bad when graded because PCGS gave it a 66.
