Weakly struck, as is typical for the type. Also, the "chatter" in that area was on the planchet and never got struck out of the coin. That's a 67, by my estimation and FWIW. Clean, hammered and lustrous obverse takes the day.
Great strike and great luster on this one. There are a couple tiny nicks on it. There are also some very tiny spots on the coin. I don't now know if they were there at grading nor if they are large enough to affect the grade. NGC gave it a 67. Without the spot, it is a solid 67. Even with them, I still think it gets a 67.
I lucked out again, these NGC 66 or 67 grades are pretty much pure guesses. Thanks again for this RLM, fun as always!
