Decent strike, minimal strikes, a carbon spot and some luster. Took a while to think this through and given it a 64.

Hardly a hit on that, comes down to luster under the brown.....nice coin. I like the reverse, pretty early die state, crisp motto for the issue.

The color is what leaves it at only a 64. not much of a hit anywhere.

The most notable problem I see with this coin are the dimples after the D (UNITED) and under the M (AMERICA). I suspect these are strike throughs because they sure don't look like PMD. Aside from that, decent strike, and not so many ticks. Luster is not so great, but definitely there. The color is a bit splotchy, but not as bad as my picture makes it look. Personally, I would call it a solid 63, but for some reason, NGC only gives it a 62. I am not sure I get that one.

rzage is still in the lead, but BadThad, ddoom1, and Leadfoot are closing the gap. We will see how this round shakes things up.

I think they were a little hard on it, still a nice example.
