Cool looking coin Dick , I think it deserves a 65 , but have a feeling PCGS gave it a 64 because of the carbon spot and it's a woodie .

I know I've seen this before but I don't remember the grade! LOL Stunning woody!

BT says 65....TPG = 64/63 because they hate woodies.

I posted it in the got wood thread. However, you don't remember the grade because I did not post the grade - purposely.

I think this coin should get a 65 however like some others have already stated that TGP hate woodies I believe it got a 64. Either way a nice looking coin!

Another super strike with a full beard and full ear. There are a couple minor ticks, but it does not quite have the that the other one has - not that I am say it is lacking luster. The worst flaw I see is a carbon spot by the T in TRUST. Were I grading this, I would call it a 65, but then, I a bit prejudice for the wood grain. I suspect PCGS does not agree with my tastes. They only gave it a 64.

Dick is NGC as hard on woodies as PCGS ? I love this coin even with that tiny carbon spot .

I don't have enough certified woodies to really comment on that. The fact that nearly all my certified woodies are PCGS would lend me to guess (notice guess) that they are more strict.
