    Is that coin double-struck? I ask because of a very odd rim on the obverse around 9-10 o'clock.

    nice looking coin Dick! I think that is a 64 and one that would be well deserved of the grade

    I think it is just misaligned dies. There is a line on the rim from about 4:00 all the way to 11:00.

    Superb strike with a full beard and a full ear. Being a nitpicker, I would suspect this one is the better strike of the two 16's. I can find a couple tiny nicks and it has very nice luster. I doubt that it would still qualify as red, but my guess is that it would still make a 65 like PCGS graded it many years ago.

    WOW...the stuff on the reverse must have not been there at grading time.
