I do not profess to know anythig about MS grading other than if I want it, it's a MS70 and if I got it, it's a AU58.

64 because of the scratches on the shoulder and the spot above the R and T.

Nice one Rlm, I voted on "guess the grade 2" but I figure I'd comment on this one.
25 is ALMOST par with 26s IMO for my favorite of the series. Beautiful coin and well struck. I'd say it came back as 65 RD, but I think it's still a lower grade then you anticipated. Are/were you hoping for a 66?

I bought it slabbed, but I have no complaints about the grade.

I am still learning about grading so I really appreciate these threads. I voted a 64.
I have one request, after you tell us what the coins grade, is there anyway you could give us the reasons why in your opinion. I think that would really help out the newbies like myself learn more. Thanks

Nice cent! i would give it a 65 red. That spot keeps it out of 66 territory IMO.
    Still absolutely gorgeous.

  14. I will say 65RD. TC

65RD. May have even hit a 66 if the grader was having a good day.

So long as we are bumping, we will do both. How about tomorrow for the answers?
