PCGS could've graded it a 68, but the only thing keeping it from that is the mark below T in TRUST. Regardless, nice coin,
I really, really want to say 67 on this one -- that's one clean and lustrous coin, but I went with 66 because PCGS is very stingy with the 67 RD grade.
Blazing luster but a few too many marks (along with what appears to be a small planchet flake below the M in AMERICA) for my taste. 66.
FWIW, the reverse is not off center - the slab is not centered on the coin. That is one of the disadvantages of the solid slabs.
Superb luster. Superb strike. There are several extremely tiny nicks. That one on the right obverse field is there, but it is hard to find in hand. The light just happened to catch it right. BTW, those areas appearing dark on the reverse are nothing but glare. Yes, Leadfoot, PCGS is stingy with their 67's, but this one made it. Maybe this would not be the best candidate for a 67+, but I have no objections to PCGS calling it a 67.
